Market employee – the heart of the market
As a market employee, you are an important part of the BILLA team and your work ensures that our customers enjoy fresh products and an all-round positive shopping experience every day. We offer a wide range of areas of activity:
- Cashier
- Sales assistant in shelf management
- Delicatessen department: for example, as a delicatessen sales assistant or meat sales assistant at the counter
- Fresh produce department: for example, as an employee specialising in fruit and vegetables

Market manager and deputy market manager
As a manager, you will take overall responsibility for your branch, lead your team with experience and commitment, and ensure economically successful operations.
Your deputy will support you in organising day-to-day business, managing staff and implementing BILLA quality standards.
Merchants
The BILLA merchant model offers you the opportunity to run your own market as an independent entrepreneur – with entrepreneurial freedom, economic security and a strong partner at your side. Apprenticeship in retail
